Mouse tissue section, 40x14mm, Masson Trichrome, scanned with a 35 mm film scanner - original scan in 2000 using Meyer Instruments (Houston TX) Pathscan Enabler microscope slide adapter for Polaroid slide scanner. 35mm film scanners scan up to 36x24mm, so two scans (head and body) merged with Adobe Photoshop (I still use PS6.0 since from before single PC or now annual web licensing - yes, I or my academic core have owned Photoshop CS, CS2 etc license over years). I have scanned the Tiki_Goddess microscope slide on many scanners and automated microsopes).
